Special Needs funding exists to provide assistance to projects and activities that will support, extend and improve the quality of Scouting provided to Young People with additional needs in Scotland.

A number of new badges are being introduced for Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers, and the badges for Young Leaders are being re-designed. You can see the badges on the UK Scout website.

Longcraig offers BCU 2 and 3 star courses, which are aimed at getting Scouts and Explorers qualified to gain proficiency badges. We are happy to discuss custom courses for groups, subject to a minimum number of 3 people and availability of staff.
Please contact Regional Scout HQ to note interest and someone will contact you to discuss your requirements.
Adults (or those 14 and over) who wish to train towards BCU 2 and 3 star are also requested to note interest and we will advise them when a suitable course will be run.
