The Explorer Belt is awarded to a team who carry out a ten-day expedition outside the UK. It is open to Explorers aged 16 and over, Network members and members of the Senior Section of Girlguiding aged
16 or over. It is a real challenge and requires serious planning, but will be “a challenge of a lifetime”.
Full information is available on the Scouts UK website.
A number of new badges are being introduced for Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers, and the badges for Young Leaders are being re-designed. You can see the badges on the UK Scout website.

Details can be found on the Scouts UK site – Institute of Leadership and Management – Development Programme.
